We’ve been reading a book on the power of Social Media. Most of the examples given are about promotions, coupons, contests, and giveaways. Don’t mistake response to coupons, promotions and freebies for Marketing success. Mostly likely, all you’ll collect are a bunch of un-loyal “fans” who are just there for the freebie’s. Not because they love your brand/product/service.
